Sync Issues

If your time entries aren’t appearing in the dashboard, try these solutions.

Check Internet Connection

Geowork needs internet access to sync:

  • Make sure Wi-Fi or cellular data is enabled
  • Try opening a web page to confirm connectivity
  • Move to an area with better signal

Force Sync

To manually sync your data:

  1. Open the Geowork app
  2. Pull down on the main screen to refresh
  3. Wait for the sync icon to complete

Offline Mode

Geowork works offline, but with limitations:

  • Clock-ins/outs are saved locally
  • Data syncs when connection returns
  • Offline entries may take a few minutes to appear in dashboard

Data Not Appearing in Dashboard

If synced data isn’t showing:

  1. Refresh the web dashboard
  2. Check that you’re looking at the correct date range
  3. Verify the crew member is assigned to your view

Sync Conflicts

If the same entry appears multiple times:

  • This can happen with poor connectivity
  • Supervisors can merge or delete duplicate entries
  • Contact support if duplicates persist

Tips

  • Sync at the end of each day to ensure all data is uploaded
  • Keep the app updated to the latest version
  • Report persistent sync issues with screenshots
