Clock In/Out Problems

Can’t clock in or out? Here are solutions to common issues.

“Already Clocked In” Error

If you see this error but didn’t clock in:

  • Your previous shift may not have been closed properly
  • Ask your supervisor to close the previous entry
  • Or contact support to reset your status

Clock-In Button Not Appearing

Check that:

  • You’re assigned to a job site for today
  • Location services are enabled
  • You have internet connection (Wi-Fi or cellular)

Forgot to Clock Out

If you forgot to clock out:

  1. Open the app the next day
  2. You’ll see a prompt to close your previous shift
  3. Enter the correct clock-out time
  4. Add a note explaining the late entry

Your supervisor may need to approve the correction.

Clock-In Rejected

Clock-ins may be rejected if:

  • You’re too far from the job site (outside geofence)
  • GPS couldn’t verify your location
  • You’re not scheduled for that site

Solution: Contact your supervisor or move closer to the job site.

Time Entry Corrections

Need to fix a time entry?

  1. Go to My Time in the app
  2. Find the entry to correct
  3. Tap to edit (if allowed)
  4. Submit for supervisor approval

Tips

  • Clock in as soon as you arrive on site
  • Make sure your phone has good signal before clocking in
  • Report issues immediately so supervisors can help
